Caviar to the General: A good thing that is not appreciated by the ignorant.
I must be pretty ignorant - because to me - escargot, caviar and foi gras tastes like cat food. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the vichyssoise; as I expected fish heads floating or something.
After dinner you are supposed to have some ginger etc. Everyone should try it once. Warning - its really really awful!
