A person could do their own laundry if they wish.  Sometimes it comes in handy on a longer cruise.



 


Ship's engine room.... completely not what I expected.  Somehow I thought there would be people shoveling coal into big containers, not a bunch of people on computers haha.  

The bridge.  Nice and quiet.  Interesting place.

The actual "steering wheel" of the ship is one of these teeny tiny things....

Garbage and recycling area...

This guy gets to go through every piece of garbage from the ship.  A most dreadful job - although my husband thinks it might be very interesting.

There are guys with drinks everywhere!
