UPDATE

So France won the world cup I see.  I was looking at some FIFA pics on the internet and came across these stadium ones.   I think the kids would have traveled on the highway near it - I'll have to ask them.  

I like this photo because you can see its location on Krestovsky Island, between several tributaries of the Neva, right by the Gulf of Finland, where we were docked.  

And this pic - like I said earlier - apartment after apartment after apartment... it just goes on and on..
